8 NO FUSS AFTER-SCHOOL SNACKS

  1. Peel a banana and dip it in yogurt. Roll in crushed cereal or chopped nuts and freeze.

  2. Spread celery sticks with peanut butter or low-fat cream cheese. Top with raisins. Enjoy your "Ants on a Log."

  3. Spread peanut butter an apple slices.

  4. Blend low-fat milk, frozen strawberries and a banana for 30 seconds.

  5. Make snack kabobs. Put cubes of low-fat cheese and grapes on pretzel sticks.

  6. Stuff a whole-grain pita pocket with ricotta cheese and Granny Smith apple slices. Add a dash of cinnamon.

  7. Top low-fat vanilla yogurt with crunchy granola and sprinkle with blueberries, strawberries or bananas.

  8. Sprinkle grated parmesan cheese over microwave or bagged popcorn.
